The Museum of Armored Forces was established on September 12,
1995, under the Political Department / Armored Corps. In
September 2004, they newly built a new museum at the current
location; 108 Hoang QuocViet Street – Cau Giay District – Hanoi
City. The Museum of Armored Forces is a cultural work of
profound socio-political significance; is a living history of
Armored Tanks soldiers during the war against the US for
national salvation; as well as in the construction and defense
of Vietnam. Currently, in the museum’s archives, there are
over 7,000 original artifacts and block originals; Nearly 3,000
exhibits and typical images on the 2,600 square meters indoor
display area and 1,200 square meters for outdoor display. |
