Wat Thatluang Neua, also called Wat That Luang Neua, is located
a few meters north of the great stupa of Pha That Luang. It is a
building of tall columns guarded by 2 huge statues.
The
temple Wat That Luang Neua can be seen from inside the enclosure
of Pha That Luang.
The small temple Wat That Luang Neua makes
shadow Palace which was built next to it, and which served as a
residence of the Supreme Patriarch of Lao Buddhism. |
