Description: |

Wogo, 18km southeast of Bajawa, stands in a site that follows
the traditional layout: two rows of bamboo houses with thatched
roofs encircle a wide esplanade dotted with ngadhu and bhaga.
The original village, Wogo Lama, was abandoned in preference for
the current, more favourable, site, but one can still make out
the old square, a carpet of wild grass scattered with upright
stones. Be sure to take in the splendid panoramic view from the
hamlet of Wogo Lama below and the neighbouring hot water spring. |
