Tang Town Catholic Church, also known as Our Lady of Lourdes
Church, was originally built in 1895. Since its opening in 1898,
it was nominated as one of the holy places for pilgrims. It is
the biggest Catholic Church in scale in Pudong. The grand and
splendid building can hold 3,000 people after renovation. Many
people come to the church for pilgrims in May every year. The
church is very influential in Southeast Asia. |
