This building was built in 1917, it is the only one old building
still exist at Lujiazui, other old buildings have already been
demolished. Wu Changshuo
(1844-1927), a master in painting, poetry, calligraphy, and
sphragistics (the scientific study of seals or signet rings) in
Chinese modern times, has been respectfully called "Four-Art
Master" and recognized as the leader of the Shanghai School of
Painters.
