Located in the midst of the beautiful Maohe River, the island
covers an area of 160 hectares, 3,800 m in length from south to
north and 700-m in width. And surrounded by water on all sides.
The landscape is pleasant and enjoyable. On the island an
18-link gold course is built, complete with a club meeting hall,
an international convention hall, a pastoral holiday resort, a
sports and recreational center, a bowling room, a water sports
ground, a cultural square, a horse-walking club, a cultural
gourmets street, an angling pond and other recreational
projects. Visitors can spend long hours there and feel sorry to
leave. The island was originally named Mao Island. Our ancestors
were found living ande working there since the Western Zhou
Dynasty. Scholars and literary men have left their traces there
as eivdencde of the history of the island. |

From Qingpu Bus station 青浦 汽车站 (长途客运站) catch any bus going to
the Zhujiajiao bus station 朱家角汽车站 ( Qingzheng Line 青蒸线 ,
Qingfeng Line 青枫专线 , Fēngjīng Line 枫泾汽车站 pass through
Zhujiajiao). From the Zhujiajiao bus station 朱家角汽车站 take
Zhujiajiao Line 3 朱家角3路 until the Sun Island resort / Mao Ta
(terminal). |
