 Known as:   Qiuxiapu Garden of Autumn Clouds    
 Description:   Located on East Grand Street in Jiading and occupying an area of 3 hectares, it is one of the five major classical gardens and the oldest one in Shanghai. It was built in the 15th Hongzhi year of the Ming Dynasty (1502), 490 years from now. It was amalgamated from the Gongshi Garden, the Shengshi Garden, the Jinshi Garden and the City God Temple. It is a cultural relic protected by the municipality. In the center of the garden is a pond surround by rockeries and the scenery is partitioned into 4 scenic areas of the Peach Blossom Pool, the Cloud Condensing Pavilion, the Clear Mirror Pond and the Town Temple. There are pavilions, terraces, chambers and halls, beautiful opionds and winding paths, luxuriant trees and bamboos, low balustrades and stone bridges, broken slopes and dripping fountains, rockeries and caves, all ingeniously arranged, forming a garden within a garden, a scene outside a scene, with hills like peaks with deep valleys, streams with tranquil beauty, a broad vista in a small garden. Therefore, it is reputed as mountains and forests in a city and a masterpiece of gardening of the Ming Dynasty. In the hall of the City God Temple in the Town Temple area there is an exhibition center of Shanghai Folk culture, A True Picture of Shanghai Folk Customs and Habits, which shows the Shanghai's Folk customs in the past hundred years.
